Slaw Recipe

All items from home garden 1/2 block from church

Local greens: Green Cabbage, Oriental Cabbage, Red Cabbage, Kale

Local Herbs; Parsley, Sage, Basil. Tarragon, Oregano, Chives, Dill, Arugula, Oriental Chives

Local Veggie Additives; Carrots, Green Bell Pepper, Yellow Banana Pepper, Radishes, Leeks

DIRECTIONS

Shred greens - about 6 -to-9 cups

Chop herbs finely, add to 'greens (about 1 cup)

Dice or mince- 2-3 leeks (about size of middle finger), 3-4 radishes, 2 small green peppers, 1 banana pepper, 2-3 carrots. - Add to greens and herbs. Mix up well.

Add 1/2 cup (NON LOCAL) Marzetti Slaw Dressing and a couple dashes of roasted sesame seed oil.

Mix (I use two forks) to blend everything well.
