On July 26th, 2009 over 200 people gathered at the Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church for the First Annual Community Wide 100 Mile Potluck.The tables were filled with food made with local ingredients, from appetizers, to side dishes to main course entrees. There were over 125 recipes submitted that day. We are in the process of adding them to this blog spot.
As you scroll down you will see on the right side a list of all the recipes. Clicking on one will take you right to it.
We will be adding recipes over the next few days. If you try a recipe and want to share any chances you made or information about where to get additional ingredients, please do so under the comment section of each recipe.
It was a wonderful event! And what a great idea to eat local food with local folks! Sounds very healthy in more ways than one.
