Savory Beans, Tomatoes, and Squash

1 lg. onion, sliced

1 clove garlic, minced

¼ C. minced parsley

2 t. salt

¼ t. each pepper, thyme, sage ( fresh)

2 T. oil

1 lb. beans, green or wax, cut

3 large tomatoes diced

2 C. zucchini or yellow squash diced

4-5 basil leaves, clised

Cook onion, garlic, parsley and seasonings n oil for 3 minutes.. Add remaining ingredients. Add water to half the depth of the mixture. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until bean are tender.
